How To Apply The Four Metrics To Achieve Data Center Greenness Online Seminar
Tuition: $295 (non-Members) / $250 ( Institute Members)
Is your executive team prepared to handle the magnitude of the data
center energy crisis? Do they know how to drive the message that Green
= Efficiency = Savings? This power-packed two hour online seminar
focuses on questions that face CIOs, CTOs, Purchasing Executives,
Senior Staff, Facility Managers, and Corporate Real Estate Executives
as a result of the energy crisis.
The seminar presents your executives a model for understanding data
center energy consumption and points the way to strategies that can
effectively curb it. It will demonstrate how a green tune-up can yield
up to 50% savings. Most important, it will present four metrics for
measuring data center greenness that can help your organization
benchmark and control its energy consumption and greenhouse gas
emissions.
>>Registration Online
Session 1: Wednesday, August 13, 2008
Session 2: Thursday, August 14, 2008

High Density Cooling And How It Relates To Data Center Energy Efficiency Online Seminar
Cooling high density data centers properly is no longer just about
delivering the right amount of cooled air to the IT equipment or
sealing rack and cable openings. It is now about optimizing the energy
consumption of the entire data center. In this four hour, live, online
seminar you will learn the leading causes of energy inefficiency in
data center cooling and energy saving methods to address them. Led by
world renowned cooling expert Dr. Bob Sullivan, the online seminar will
look at the tried and true approaches to data center cooling as well as
some new ways to maximize energy efficiency in cooling. This course
will help you understand:
- Product density, heat density, and data center trends
- Raised floor cooling issues and sources of energy waste
- How heat is removed from a raised floor environment
- Cooling principles and new approaches that you can implement to increase energy efficiency
