This one-and-a-half-day Seminar is led by Robert “Dr. Bob” F. Sullivan,
an internationally recognized data center cooling expert, who
originated the Cold and Hold Aisle concept and essentially built the
existing body of knowledge about raised-floor performance issues. Dr.
Bob, who is a 40-year veteran of the industry, will set the context for
a solution to data centers’ increasing heat load problems by explaining
what has led to it.
To address the data center power and cooling
delivery imbalance, Dr. Bob will tackle the misconception that adding
cooling room capacity is a solution. He will then present best
practices designed to maximize both the effectiveness of the data
center infrastructure and the efficiency of the operation. To
accommodate all manner of budgets and business objectives, the best
practices are introduced as both strategic, long-term and
cost-effective, tactical recommendations.
This Seminar will help you evaluate your data
center in terms of its worst-case practices so that you can easily
target your solution. In general, you will learn how to optimize your
cooling environment and maintain “24 by forever” site availability.
Benefits:
Learn how to best address heat loads
Analyze and control the temperature and relative humidity
Absorb best practices for installing and cooling high-density equipment
Understand how to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of your computer room cooling system
