The Uptime Institute Symposium is an annual Spring event that brings together all industry stakeholders in corporate data, IT, finance, facilities, and real estate to deal with the critical issues surrounding enterprise computing. This high-value gathering produces strategic approaches to the most serious challenges facing enterprise computing, making it essential to the success of C-Suite executives including CIOs and CFOs, as well as Facilities or Corporate Real Estate executives and data center managers. The Symposium brings together the best minds in the industry to address the issues that such executives need to confront in order to achieve profitability, capacity, and efficiency objectives.
The Symposium's output sets the stage for the annual Fall Design Charrette and, is in turn, fed by it. The Charrette explores tactical approaches for achieving the overall strategies developed in the Symposium. In turn, larger issues, new developments, and barriers to progress discovered via the Charrette become the foundation for the next Symposium. Taken together, the Institute's annual Symposium and Charrette provide a complete program for executives who want to uncover, understand, and manage the issues posing the greatest challenges to enterprise uptime and efficiency.
